How can I get my account balance?

There are several ways to get your account balance.

  • To use our telephone banking system, call 478-763-2122, you must provide your social security number and account number.
  • To use online banking and/or mobile banking services. Enroll for the service at durdenbc.com.
  • Account balances can be obtained at ATMs using the account inquiry feature. When using non-Durden Banking Company, Inc. ATMs, a fee may be incurred.
What do I need to do if I forget my online banking user ID or password?

Customers can select the “Password Help” option to begin the password reset process. They will be guided through a verification step, and once successfully verified, they can create a new password. Alternatively, customers may contact the bank directly to speak with a representative who can issue a temporary password.

Where can I find my account number and/or routing number?

  • The routing number for all Durden Banking Company accounts is 061211443.
  • Your account number can be found in the following:
    • Your bank statement
    • On the bottom of your check
    • On the Account Agreement paperwork provided at account opening.
  • We cannot give your entire account number over the phone for security reasons. You will need to come to an office if you are not able to find your number any other way.
What offices provide banking services on Saturday?

Our Twin City office is open for drive-through banking services from 8:30 am until 12 noon on Saturdays. ATM services are available at all offices 24/7.

I need help with my banking business and the person who helps me is not available.

Please understand that in a busy work environment, employees may be helping other customers or they may be out of the office. By giving a brief description of what you need, help with your call will be directed to another employee specifically trained to help you with your needs.

How do I activate my debit card?

Call 1-866-633-5293 from your home or cell phone. It is important that you take time to update your home, mobile, and work telephone numbers so that we have the most current information.

Can I make a loan payment to my Durden Banking Company loan using a debit card from another bank?

You can make a payment using your non-DBC debit card by clicking on our Payment Portal link in the top right-hand corner of our website. A fee of 3.5% of the payment amount will be assessed to the payment using this method.

I have not received a statement in the mail, how do I get a replacement?

  • To receive a replacement bank statement, you can call and request a replacement statement be mailed through the US Postal Service, emailed through an encrypted email, or stop by any of our offices for a reprint.
  • Online banking customers can enroll to receive their statements electronically for immediate delivery.
Can I submit a loan application electronically?

While it cannot be submitted online, you have the choice to swing by one of our four locations and fill out a paper application or visit www.durdenbc.com to obtain various applications.

How do I file a dispute claim on an erroneous transaction?

If you see a charge on your account that is not yours and want to file a dispute, we first suggest you contact the merchant. If no resolution is received, you must come to one of our four offices and ask to speak to a customer service representative for further assistance.

How do I reorder or have checks printed?

  • Call any of our local offices and one of our customer service representatives can order your checks or, for a fee, print temporary checks.

Why does my debit card not work?

  • Due to a variety of reasons, you may need to call or visit any of our offices to determine the cause of the issue.
What do I need to open an account?

You can obtain a DDA Account Application online at www.durdenbc.com. This application form can be completed electronically but must be printed and brought into any office to complete the application and account opening process.

  • You must provide the following:
    • A valid driver’s license or valid state issued identification
    • Proof of current address
What if I do not recognize a charge on my account?

  • Call or visit any of our offices.
    • For quicker service, have transaction details available.
  • Online banking customers may send us a message under Self Service and Secure Messaging. Someone will respond back to you within 24 hours of your receiving your message.
How do I set an auto draft or direct deposit for my account?

  • To set up a payment to draft from your account, please contact your provider and give them the routing number for Durden Banking Co., Inc. and your account number.  Some providers may require you to sign a document from them.
  • Durden Banking Company, Inc. loan payments may be set up by contacting your loan officer or by setting up through online banking transfers.
  • Direct deposit of payroll should be handled by customer contacting their payroll or HR.  They should provide the routing number for Durden Banking Co., Inc. and their account number.
  • We can assist customers with direct deposit from Social Security Administration by helping them contact a local office by phone.
